Does it feel like regular appro events drain your wallet before you’ve even had your first beer? Frustrated by endless queues when you could already be sitting on the grass laughing with your friends? No worries, we’ve got an alternative for you! Welcome to Pussikalja-approt: a budget-friendly, fun, and carefree way to enjoy student life!
Pussikalja-approt is back for the second time on Thursday, September 11th, starting at 17:00 in Eteläpuisto! At the event, you’ll get to dive into the culture of pussikaljailu while spending quality time with friends and trying out activities like kyrpong, kaljamölkky, and football-billiards! At Pussikalja-approt you can progress from Makustelija to Hörpiskelijä, Ryypiskelijä, and in your fourth year even reach the level of Pesusieni!
You’ll collect stamps based on the number of cans/bottles you drink. First-timers work towards the Makustelija level, which requires a modest four drinks. On your second time, you can complete the Hörpiskelijä level, which requires six drinks. To complete the Hörpiskelijä level, you must have your Makustelija patch sewn onto your overalls. You can also complete the appro totally alcohol-free!
You can arrive at the event anytime between 17:00–21:00 and the event ends at 21:00. Pick up your map from the pink tent, where you’ll also get more detailed instructions on how the event works!
The official afterparty is PISTOT. You can buy an afterparty ticket from the appro ticket sale or from PISTOT’s own sales!
The event is open to everyone. Tickets will be available on Kide.app (https://kide.app/) on 28.8. at 14:30! You can buy an approticket for 5€ at the ticket sales and if you wish, also a PISTOT ticket for 4€.
